What else do you expect when you visit a place with geysers? Recently, Biscuit Basin in Yellowstone National Park suddenly went kabloom. According to USA Today, this is what’s called a hydrothermal explosion, and we still don’t really understand why they happen when they do. As the nearby boardwalk was destroyed during the blast, the viewing area is now closed for the time being — but at least we have this absolutely sick video of the explosion happening.
